A short animation created while working towards my ‘Living With Dying’ body of work. It tries to explore similar themes through a more matrix-esque lens. The screen orb was an interesting challenge as it involved unwrapping a HDRI evenly around a sphere, then separating the faces of the sphere into grouped objects so that groups could be hidden and shown throughout the animation. Then I could expand upon the LED screen material I built in my Screen+Amp work. Its not fully animated but rather a compilation of still renders so a lot could be improved with more naturalistic animations, particularly with the bubble effects as well as just general human movement.
