I wanted to create a realistic television screen material, as well as a DAC inspired by Sony’s 2008 Cinema Studio EX A. I ended up creating a node tree that allowed both image or video input, that would accurately simulate the individual RGB LEDs, as well as account for the refractions from the glass in front of the screen.
